Hello from Daytona Beach

Postby Bigblock352 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 8:31 am

Hello everyone. Been lurking the site for a month or so and have pulled the trigger and bought a 5x8 Northern tool trailer. Really looking forward to the build. I think we've settled on a Rimple style. I prefer a more tear style to tow behind the '62 nova or the '66 ford wagon, but the old lady wants "more room". I guess the cross ways bunk bed could use some more room for our son.
There are so many ways to get started I haven't really decided how I am going to do this yet. Plywood, Fiberglass, aluminum frame skinned with something, and now I see FOAM is an options.... WOW some creative people.
No matter how I look at it I am really excited to get started.

Anyhow, I'll have questions soon I am sure.

Thanks
Patrick

Welcome Patrick. Have fun with your build and don't be afraid to ask for help, we all did.

Welcome Patrick

Ya there are some great ideas here. So many it is hard to make one trailer and incorporate all the idea’s into one.
Take your time, read thru a few build logs a week, and just have fun planning and making your trailer your own.
