Oreellyfool's Introduction

Postby Oreellyfool » Thu Mar 14, 2013 7:40 pm

Hey everyone. Just introducing myself.

My name is Nick from Western Washington. I have been reading the site for quite some time(at least 6 months) but just decided to join. I have wanted to build a TD since I went to a hotrod meet and one of the guys was pulling an all wood one behind his car and I was sold after talking to him about how he built it himself. After a couple years of pondering I am ready to pull the trigger. I gave the girl the go ahead to start drafting up her designs. Now I have the chore of finding a used trailer/or good axle. Once I have that, I should be off to the races. I will do a build thread that that point too.

Anyways... Hello!!

Thanks!! I look forward to all the help you guys can offer.

I literally just may have found my base. My dad's old travel trailer. The person he sold it to wants it gone (aka free with a title). Cut down the axle and frame and I have a good base to go off of. (Not to mention all the reusable parts from the trailer)

Hey Brian and sandi!, yes I do have a street rod. Its a 49' Chevy sport coupé. Maybe one of these days I'll get a hitch for that to tow my TD behind.
