Greetings from another So Calif teardropper. Welcome to the forum. If you are truely interested, and you have the time, there is a great teardrop gathering taking place in about a month, at Lake Shasta. There may be about a hundred or so teardrops and tiny travel trailers there. Anyone is welcome, so come up and join in the fun. Bring a tent, a sleeping bag, or sleep in your car or SUV. This is a great way to get aquainted with the wonderful teardropping crowd, and you will get valuable info about building, restoring or purchasing a teardrop trailer from the many teardop owners that will be there. I am glad you found us, we are here to help folks like you, join in the amazing world of teardrop enjoyment. There are a number of us traveling from So Calif to the Gathering, which is near Redding. Hope to see you there.

Welcome to the forum. Have fun reading and reading and if that is not enough there is some good reading on here. You can get some wonderful ideas and learn a lot. Thanks for the well wishes everybody. I've started using Evernote to gather my thoughts on ideas gleaned from the forum and elsewhere. Eventually I should be able to roll them up to a design that will meet my budget, style, and weight requirements. I'm sure I'll be back asking questions on some hot afternoon later this year.
