Hello, I have been lurking for awhile and decided to join today. I am a big fan of the outdoors (camping, hunting, hikes, etc.) About 9 months ago I saw a guy camping in a homemade teardrop and fell in love. I am here reading up on making my own. Anyway, I'm sure you guys/gals will see me posting in the future. Thanks for having me!
This is Bill of Bill and Elaine. We got our teardrop less than two years ago. In the first year we camped 60 nights, taking trips to the Mid West and the Florida Keys. We began our second year with trips to Glacier National Park and Florida. We love the freedom and convenience we have camping in our little trailer. These are sentiments expressed by many teardrop and small trailer owners.
Based on your name, No Code, I was wondering if you were into ham radio?
Welcome no code, glad to have you as a fellow teardroper. As you have already discovered you can find plenty of info on this site. A goodly number of members have built there own rigs and they are quite friendly and enthusiastic about sharing their experience. Good luck. Lee
