A would be tear engineer....

Postby brycelowe » Sun Jun 23, 2013 12:14 am

Hello friends,
We have the bug, my girlfriend and I that is. Seeing as how she just graduated with her bach I thought I'd give her the gift of building a teardrop to her specifications and hopefully my skill level.
I am an engineering student, product designer, freelance CAD consultant, novice woodworker and an expert hobby collecter
Our tear won't be the tool to get us out into the great outdoors, it'll be what gets us off the cold hard ground on our usual outings.
I've been poking around for the last month or two as I designed and redesigned "Room2Go"
you can check out the design thread I just started tonight at: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=56286

I look forward to the adventures that await us.

Welcome, from Waco GA, I am sure you can build it and have fun. There are not a lot of teardrops in this area of the country but the numbers are growing. you might want to check out tearjerkers.net too. you will get to meet some locals and get to see some teardrops in person. I am planning a trip to the Cross Roads of America in Indiana in late July. I may have to tent but thats ok. enjoy your build!!!

Thanks! It's SolidWorks. I've gone lightweight on some of the details as the design changes daily. haha
