Hello from the UK

Built up the Teardrop to tow around France behind my VW Transporter as the father in law was getting a bit old for the tent and started to eye up the bed in the campervan.

Now towing behind a 74 Bug

Made a few changes since I built, closed up one of the doors as it wasn't used. and skimmed the sides in metal.

Lined the inside with old maps pasted up and varnished to hide the join where the 2nd door used to be

Trying to keep it looking authentic by using 60's tow hitch, running gear, cross ply tyres, reclaimed port holes etc. And keeping it slightly beat up looking as if it had been used and abused for the last 40 years.

Not the best picture of the kitchen (galley) but one from the weekend anyway.

Just got a worktop, and under that is a cool box and a cupboard where the front hinges down to make a table.

Towed it 600 miles at the weekend without any problems, went straight and true and only slowed me down a bit on those long slow hills

Was a couple of lovely Teardrops at the show, just a shame my camera packed in as soon as I got there so couldn't get any snaps.

Most of the time the simplest galley work the best.

Wow a day without rain in England. I lived there for 7 ½ years and it rained the whole time I was there.
Just kidding there was a few weeks I stayed dry.
