Hi Big Joe, welcome to the board from another life-long carpenter. As a wood-worker, I suppose you plan to build a woody, right? Get that trailer, and let the sawdust fly. Ask questions and you will get plenty on answers on this forum. Good luck.

Big Joe, pay no attention to that Canadian, remember, it was carpenters that built America! All he has ever done is build the finest all-metal teardrop I have ever seen, cobbled together out of dozens of car parts, some bondo and a whole lot of talent.......

(Brian, where are you, did you make the connections on the west coast, after our get-together in my driveway?. Even though some think differently about teardrops that are made out of trees, remember, wood is good, but iron is try-in. Gee, I guess that doesn't rhyme, but it sounds good).

Sorry Joe
We are not trying to steel your thread......and if you do need any woodworking ideas or some special pieces made?? Roly is your man!
His wooden Teardrops have to be seen to be believed!
And Roly
We made it to Solvang yesterday....then off to our usual late start again today but did drive up Hwy. 1 (Miss Piggy is resting now after swing dancing all day)
We have hooked up with Sally via e-mail and hope to meet with her tomorrow and see the Aquarium in Monterey.
We are about 10 miles south of Monterey in Carmel Valley tonight in the most expensive campground so far on our trip.
Almost turned around and came back to your place now I know where the key is.

Welcome Big Joe, Those two are are really great TD builders and as you can see we just enjoy ourselves visiting and being great hosts and visitors. One of these days I will get to meet both of them in person and hope to meet you too.
