Interested Teardropper from Pittsburgh

Postby KONA1987 » Mon Aug 12, 2013 3:55 am

Hey ya'll! Just checking out this forum and getting flooded with ideas, questions, concerns, comments, etc about Teardrop Campers. Just started my researching and this forum is amazing for Teardrop alumni and newbies like myself. I hope to use this forum as a building block to jumpstart my own project (funding and wife's permission of course!) Already looking for trailers/campers/pop-ups as framework for this new adventure I am about to slowwly venture into. As with most, I'd like to keep this a budget build, but can easily see how a lot of Dough can be dropped into these unique machines! Looking forward to learning a lot through all the experienced teardroppers so I can join the club!

I'm in PIttsburgh, too, and have been lurking a LONG time. I'm non-traditional, and have been building a removable foamie in my mind for a couple years...LOL

If you ever get started, please let me know, I'd love to come help/watch/help with the beer....

Thanks for the Update about the camping with the Teardrops, unfortunatelty I will be venturing out to MD this weekend for a Wedding. I have yet to actually see a Teardrop in person and I feel I need to check out a couple before I even begin to dive into the project..and Tim, beer and building things always work in my book, though the end results aren't always as they should!
