Hi all!
I'm Stephanie and my Hubby is Mark we are new this year teardrop trailer owners. We have a little 4x6.5' trailer from Teardrops NW and have been out camping from the Olympic Peninsula to Crater Lake and many points between! Just got back from Millersylvania State Park and had a great time. Lucked out 3 weeks ago when I was looking at campgrounds and found a space available for the holiday weekend (it was the last one in the park- one of the nicest sites too. #51

I grew up camping in a tent, then tent trailer with my parents and 4 siblings. My Hubby didn't do much camping as a kid so after our disastrous camp out in a tent where our sleeping bags got soaked we decided to not go camping until we could find a way to do it up off the ground.

Years passed and it was getting expensive to go to the beach and stay in a motel when we wanted to get away. Then I remembered seeing a tiny trailer when we were on that last ill fated campout and it triggered more longing to get out and camp. I started searching and found teardrop trailers and then focused on them and started working on my hubby.

A few months passed, I found a trailer that was only 550lbs dry with a 60 lb tongue weight and figured out that we could pull it with our Kia Soul--didn't have to buy a new car too. We bought it and have been camping all over. We are in the process of upgrading to the newest version of the same trailer. It has a different profile,more head room and manufacturing process has been updated too. We will be picking it up in a few weeks and I'm beside myself in excitement!

We have been to one TOW event with the first edition trailer and will be going to Fall Brigade with the new and improved 2nd Edition!! Cheers all! Stephanie (and Mark her husband)

Yeah! Bill is trying to have mine done as well though we will see. I learn more everytime I go down there and I love seeing the construction. They just have my trailer right now and have to get a few done before they start mine

Thanks for the great welcomes.
Yup Bill has the chassis, the wood all cut for the sides and supports. We will be taking our mattress down and the camp stove to make sure everything is set up the way we want it. We had to do some modifications on the first edition and I want those in place on the 2nd edition from the get go! Bill is great and working with us on getting this done. I know he's got all the bays full with current construction that has to get out the door. We need our trailers too!

Stephanie and Mark - The Fall Brigade is just a few weeks away and I will see you there! Looks like I will be reunited at the event with Brian and Sandi Woods and lots of new people to meet. If you are in the process of building, I'm sure you'll get plenty of ideas! So great to have a compatriot so closeby (I live in Longview and often travel to Vancouver for work).

I was going to build also but my impatience and lack of skill got the better of me, so I purchased a used Three Feathers Pinecone (HQ in LaGrande). Back when I was considering building I reached out to our friends at TOW and they enthusiastically invited me to their events even just to get ideas. I didn't actually have to even OWN a trailer yet. The Fall Brigade will be my first TOW event and I can't wait to meet everyone.

In the 9 weeks I've owened my TD, I've been out in it 7 times and traveled as far as Salt Lake City. On one of my outings I met Miss Piggy (owned by Brian and Sandi) in Hood River. I look forward to reuniting with Brian and Sandi at the Fall Brigade and I will look forward to meeting you both also! Note that my current plan is to arrive mid-day Saturday 9/28 and leave on Monday 9/30.

Don't you think we have the most BEAUTIFUL state in the nation? Forests, mountains, ocean, prairies, and amazing places to explore. Without a doubt this is the best place to enjoy TD traveling...just hook up your trailer and go. Within an hour you can be somewhere GORGEOUS and relaxing!

Glad to hear that the registration has shown up. WE are excited to get to go to brigade too.

Greg--We bought our teardrop from Teardrops Northwest in Salem this past May. We have been to 11 different campgrounds between Washington and Oregon since we bought our trailer having a blast and enjoying every moment!
We look forward to meeting more of the great TOW family. We have been to one gathering this year and are looking forward to Brigade. See you there

Boy, now I really hope we can make the Fall Brigade gathering.
Sandi still has not confirmed the time off at work.
At best we will arrive late, but we are still optimistic that we will make it.
Looking forward to seeing many of the new friends we have made during our short time as tear droppers.
