Greetings from North Texas

Postby dane714 » Sat Sep 21, 2013 7:00 am

Hello all. I've been casually looking at tiny trailers for a while now when this popped up on Craigslist.

Image

Owned by an elderly couple with health issues, they were motivated to sell. It has been used four times and none of the appliances have ever been used. I think this may have been a real find. 2009 T@B with the U shaped interior and lots of options.

Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome! That's a real nice find you have there!

Please check out the South Central section of the forum for area gatherings.

I'm sure out paths will cross.

Take care,
Tom

Hi Dane
Welcome to the TnTTT Forum.
Unfortunately, you may have got off to a rocky start.
This is a good place to be.
And as I was trying to explain to you in a post (that I missed posting by one minute while typing) when the thread was blocked " by a Forum Administrator.
Most members here have "Three" things in common.
1. Camping!
2. Tiny Camper units
3. Uniqueness
Even Gage has a new tiny travel trailer that he has been working on this past year making unique and personalized.
I am sure you are going to love camping in your new rig and meeting others with these common interests.
We can't wait to see how you make your T@b not just one of the herd.
Good Luck and a "Sincere Welcome" to the Forum.
Also, as the Director for the newly formed B.C. Chapter of the Tear Jerkers, I would like to invite you to check that Forum out too.
Even though there is a little less traffic on there, it is still a wonderful group of campers.

Again, welcome. Now, those three commonalities are not absolute values...Camping (some do a lot, others a little, and some -me-haven't yet), Tiny Camper units (they range in size from miniscule 3x6 to behemoth 8x30-I think-), and Uniqueness (I mentioned the term "cookie cutter" once, never again, and rightly so- all are made "unique" by the personal touches of the owners). However, Vedette failed to mention two more items, shared by "most" forum members: Tolerance (for the differing views of others here), and Tolerance.2 (for the differing characters of others here). I haven't agreed with everything I've seen here, nor do I want others to agree with me (per se), but I've enjoyed the views, characters, and general good-natured attitude that pervades this forum. Of all the forums I've been on for the last 15 years, I've not had any real disagreements with anyone (and I thought that was impossible, given the desensitivity that electronic communication imparts). Welcome, and remain.

Welcome,

I just want to mention a forum feature that make my life more enjoyable, and may help with yours... :D

Under the User Control Panel there is a Manage Friends and Foes tab. Under Manage Foes you can set users who irk you to ignore. You no longer have to read any of their comments. It's Wonderful tool that reduces internet forum stress. 8)

Ok, back to my lurking status...

Hey....I am 5 miles due west of DFW airport in a town called Colleyville. I plan to do most of my camping at Palo Duro Canyon and the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
