Hi folks,
my name is mike,at this point in time we live in Edmonton ,AB ,Canada,
we(me and the misses ) came five years ago from Germany(West) ;) to Canada
the journey started with a 2500 GMC Vandura Camperstyle one summer, than sold
next was a 28 Foot Grand Haven RV with mega slide out, nice rig, but,, on the long run to heavy and bulky and gas
so we sold this RV too.
one year without anything, time to think,,, and i don t know somehow i fall over B.O.S.S Teardrop trailer on YouTube
interesting ,,but the price oh lord
No More Camper/Rv s on credit
that's why i'm here to build : a off road teardrop (4 Season if possible)
ok guy's
btw English is not my first language so please patient, if i don't find the right words right away or mix up the grammar part
happy to be here
cu mike

Welcome Mike,
Glad that you found the best place to learn about and build a teardrop/tiny trailer.
When you have any questions along the way just ask. Someone will answer.

Be sure to post your pictures...we love pictures along the way.

Welcome Mike. Glad you found this forum. You will find many helpful and knowledgable people here who will assist in any way they can. I suggest you go to a few gatherings bdfore you start your build (that is what I did and it was most helpful). You will get to see many completed tears and can get questions answered. Building your own tear can be a daunting task but in the end you get exactly what you wanted ( and at a cost that is much more affordable than factory jobs ). We completed our tear last year and enjoyed the last camping season in it immensely. Lee and Norma

And when you go, take tons of pictures. I looked at galley hatches and latches. Cabinets are real interesting to pay attention to. I went to several before I started.

So Mike
We have not heard from you since your original post.
Not that winter has set in for you and it is far to cold for you to venture outside. :R
We hope you have a nice warm shop, your plans, and materials and you are getting your project underway.
The time will go by much quicker than you can imagine once you get started.
Remember, we are planning a Canadian Gathering for 2014 and would love to meet you and the missis.
