New to Trailers, New member in Ohio

Hi everyone,
My wife and I live in central Ohio. We have decided to make the transition from tent to small camper. We're in the planning/designing/learning stage to build something on our own that we can use for summer trips. I look forward to learning from the other members and their experiences.

Greetings and welcome. We are from north west Ohio (just west of Toledo). First of all I would suggest joining Tearjerkers http://www.tearjerkers.net. The Buckeye chapter is quite active (though not right now) and I would suggest coming to some of the gatherings and seeing what folks have. Pictures are all well and good but actually seeing and perhaps trying on for size is better. Tears run from very simple to very elaborate (everything but room).
