Greetings from Texas

Postby Hardryder56 » Thu Nov 28, 2013 10:12 am

Found this site while searching for information on truck campers and I figured the building techniques, materials and such can cross over. After seeing and reading about some of the TD/TTT members have built I am now looking at going that route as well. A little back ground on myself, I enjoy wood working and riding my motorcycles on long trips, have ridden in just about all the lower 48 state, hence the name Hardryder, as I tend to ride all day. Kind of a hurry up and wait guy. LOL Having built a small fiberglass covered wooden boat I think I might be able to pass on some ideas and tips on using both FRP and thin plywood in building things.
Now I will shut up and read more posts.

Welcome to the forums.

Hey Tom. Yes we all like to see what you can do. So many of these camper where build with borrowed idea from other builders no one person can claim to the design. With new products being tried out every year it is nice to see if the new can work as well as the old. Enjoy your stay and looking forward to seeing some dust fly.
