Hello from Baltimore!

Postby RockinRobin2 » Tue Dec 31, 2013 12:11 pm

Hello all,

I am new to the forum, but not new to wanting a teardrop since 2010 when I bought my Mini Cooper Clubman, manual 6 speed. I am so close to making a decision, but want to hear from some of you folks experienced with towing with a mini cooper. My price range tops off at $5 g so I can't go high end. My manual says my tow limit is 815#. What are your actual experiences?

I am extremely excited to be close to joining many of you on, what will probably be, a new on-going adventure of a life time! I retire this year from teaching, so watch out, here I come!!

Thanks for all your posts elsewhere, and hope to hear from you on this one.

Cheers, and Happy New Year!!

You will really have to watch what you build, my suggestion is to check out the foamie section. Weight can really add up quickly. Good luck !
