I'm originally from Montana, and hope to return there someday. My family and I (wife and 4 teenage kids) are currently living in central Alabama. Haven't camped as much as we'd like, but when we do, we currently run with a Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with a topper, and a 19' K-Z Coyote with 3 foldout beds (they're calling them "hybrid" -- kind of like a full-sized tent trailer). We used to tent camp, then when to a Coleman tent-trailer when the kids were young. I'd like to have the option of going back to a simpler, smaller camper, which is one of the reasons I'm exploring TnTTT.
We've camped our way across most of the western US, and have begun to explore the east in the past 1+ years. Hoping to get up to Maine this summer (the only state I haven't been to yet).
I'm trying to convince my bride to let me build a teardrop. Haven't figured out if she'll let me, but trying
. Also don't know if I'll try to build a small starter one (that I'd probably bequeath to my oldest when he leaves the nest), or go for something bigger that would have more sleeping space.
