There are a few of us from the uk on the forum.
Biggest issue I had was finding hinges and latches here. Albert jaeger has a good catalogue.

Good luck ! It's a load of fun and just ask there is a lot of experienced help in the forum.

Kev, if anyone asks you started building your trailer today and you will finish it this summer, OK? Because come October, a home-built trailer will have to pass a fairly detailed vehicle inspection (IVA) before it can be used on the road. So keep any receipts that prove you built it this year.
