New From Washington

Hi, I have spent the last 4 days watching every You Tube Video, looking at thousands of images on Bing! I am hooked!!! I have looked at the teardrops every year at the Seattle RV Show... but the price always seemed a little high... We had planned on retiring in an RV for the last 8 years... 2 years ago my Mother n law started having problems, and needed help... so we bought a 24' used travel trailer and moved on to the property. after a year or so we moved into the house... I didn't mind the trailer.. but it drove my wife crazy! We did a little van camping... ( I don't have a big rig anymore to haul the travel trailer..) The van was ok... but not really set up for camping... then the van died... I thought about an enclosed cargo trailer... I could use it for my business and camping.. or I was thinking about buying a small suv or a small pickup and buying a small utility trailer, and then I saw a picture of somebody using a small utility trailer... to haul their camping stuff... and then sleeping in the rig... Then i saw the opposite.. people hauling stuff in their car and sleeping in their utility trailer!!!!!
so then I had an idea... I could buy a 5 x 8 utility trailer... to use for my business... and build a box to slide in and out of the trailer...

so that is where I am right now... trying to decide if I like the idea... I have seen only one other picture where somebody left the 8 inch railing on the Home depot/lowes style trailers and had a tear drop box installed... not sure if it slides in and out or if it is permanently attached.

This is a great site... and I am sure I will learn a lot from reading through it!!

For the price of a cheap utility, you would be well advised to buy one for your business ......if needed?? ( a write off anyways??
And buy or build a Teardrop for your camping pleasure!
Don't wait! Life is too Short!!!!
I write this as I sit with the greatest group of people I have ever met at a Gathering here in California.
