Howdy Peeps,
For the past 22 years or so I’ve been a musician. I’ve been in a number of small blues, folk and rock bands over the years playing either the guitar or bass. Most recently I‘ve began playing the banjo in an attempt to take my playing to the next level.
If I’m not playing music, then the next thing that I am playing with is photography. I’ve been an amateur photographer for the past few years as well. Although I lack the photographer’s eye when it comes to portrait photography, I think that I do alright when it comes to some of the other stuff that I do.
Behind music and photography I am also into woodworking. I spend a lot of time in my woodshop scrolling different scenes into shelves, plaques, clocks, etc., or building rocking horses for friends and family as they have babies. My latest is an attempt at carving a horse in the old Victorian fashion. This one will have a leather saddle and real horse hair for the mane and tail.
With all of that being said, if you were to get to know me I’m pretty sure that you would quickly realize that my greatest hobby is collecting hobbies. On top of the previous three listed hobbies I am also into, hunting, fishing, competitive shooting, auto-mechanics, endurance road-biking (working towards 100 mile average rides), home remodeling (just bought my first), bonsai trees (Japanese Maples), golf, disk-golf, annoying the wife, and I like long walks on the beach at sunset.
But, that’s enough about the past. Today I am a Business Administration major, and I happen to be graduating next week. So with all of this free time that I'll be having beginning next week, I'm looking for a new hobby to fill in that time. That's where tnttt comes in. Since my wife has decided that she's never going to sleep on the ground again, and I have a thing for camping, but don't want to buy a large trailer to lug around I am going to give a teardrop a try. And as we will be heading into the winter season in a few months anyway, I need a winter project to pass the time.
I'm looking forward to this project, and am sure that I'll be asking a ton of questions along the way.
