Newbie witha question

Postby laurie.riley689 » Fri Aug 15, 2014 4:15 pm

Hello - I'm a new member. Recently got a 2007 Yoder Toter "Silver Shadow" teardrop camper, and it is a thing of beauty! Such excellent craftsmanship.

I do have a question. I plugged it in for the first time a few days ago, and for some reason power is not getting to the outlets. (The power source and the cord are both fine.) There are outlets inside the camper and in the galley, none of which is a GFI. I cannot find a breaker box anywhere. There is a black converter box in a cupboard in the galley, and it shows that no power is going to charge the battery either. There is no switch anywhere, no breaker anywhere that I can see. What am I missing here? Any assistance from someone who owns one of this same model teardrop would be very much apprecaited!

This may or may not be the same thing, but a while back, I had no power in my '07 Puma 20ft TT, and thought I had to get a new converter. I learned that the deceased battery was causing the problem: not sensing 12vdc, the converter didn't function. Replaced the battery, and all is well.

Don't know much about Silver Shadows.....but love them. Good Choice!
But, there has to be a circuit Breaker panel onboard somewhere
Why don't you give Little Guy a call, unless someone with one like yours chimes in very soon.
