Hi everyone, I'm a new member of this group, looking forward to getting to know you all and perhaps getting some advice if I decide to be brave and build a teardrop,
Regards

Welcome Sean! You will have almost as much fun building a Tear as camping in it.

Hi Sean - Welcome to the forum where no question is stupid and where you will find some of the most friendly, innovative and helpful craftsman (craftpersons) that you are ever likely to meet. I discovered this site two years ago and caught a serious case of T.A. (Teardrop Addiction). I built a Generic Benroy Woody from the plans on this site over the next eighteen months with frequent help from the members that you will find here. I completed my build at noon on 5/29 and left at 2 pm on a 2000 mile road trip. I have had it out 15 nights over the last three months covering eight states. I wish I had built it ten years ago. I love it. There is an unbelievable wealth of information in the past posts that can be found here. Good luck! I hope you get bitten by the bug and have as much fun as I have. Bill
