Just bought unfinished tear drop here locally. Handy man of many talents passed away while in process. Family moved it 'round until it was apparent no one was gonna do anything with it. They put it up on craigslist and my wife who has been wanting to jump in to tear drop trailers had me call. We were surprised it was close to our shop! Went to see it and thought it was a good deal so we bought it with no haggling. Surprised myself there.



So happy to have found this site for all it's resources, we're gonna need 'em!

I grew up in the Southwest and am assuming that is where Yucca Valley is located ... can you give us a bit more detail ?

Welcome from Las Vegas, as many others have said it looks good and needs a finish But you got a great start ad a mattress and get started camping you might want to stock up the galley Hope to see you on the camping trails you might want to go down the southwest section and see where the events are if you want to camp with other tears.

Here's some pics back in May 2015 when we were close to finishing the teardrop. We ended up replacing the hatch, his was too heavy for Kathy to lift on her own. So we went with a much lighter hatch build than the original builder envisioned. He used steel throughout his build, so this is one heavy teardrop.
