Greetings from Louisiana by way of Ohio!

Hi!

I started my build yesterday after driving my HF 4x8 (actually 4x6) from my home in Ohio to my dad's house in Louisiana. I have a month off from work and am excited to do this project with my dad. This forum has been really helpful so far and I'm sure it will continue to be as I come up with questions (like electrical stuff!). We're following the Generic Benroy plans with some modifications (5ft to 4ft) and some differences on the inside.

How fortunate to get time off work to build a TD.

What a great venture, building a project with your Dad ... cherish the time together and the sharing of thoughts and ideas.

What are you planning to tow the TD with?

Hey optimizer I'm in louisiana also lake charles to be exact wondering if you can help me out I too have built a generic benroy just finishing up soon but need to know what the distance is between tires I can give you a critical tip do not notch the walls
