Hello from Woburn, MA

Hey guys/gals!

I've been lurking on here for the past few weeks so I've decided to introduce myself.

I'm Mike, originally from Chas. SC. Currently living in MA due to my job. I plan to retire next summer after serving 20 years in the US Coast Guard. That being said, I'd like to build a teardrop before I begin school next winter.

I'd like to build either a 5x8 or 5x10. A 4x8 seems like it would be too small for the wife and I.

Anyways, great to be here!

Welcome aboard - we're just about an hour's drive west of you in Clinton, MA. I can tell you a 4 X 8 is going to be too small for the both of you, 5 wide is a good start  if you are every close by. stop on in, I'd be happy to show you some construction techniques.

Hello Woburn ! Thank you for Serving . I'm currently building a 5 x 9.5 . Just a rookie builder but find it a lot of fun and this group of people here are just fantastic with help and confidence. Don't rush it and take pride in your hobby, and go ahead overbuild it, build it to last and pass on someday. I live in Hanson. feel free to PM me and stop buy sometime. Don't forget to take lots of pictures of your build. :) :pictures:

I'm just up in Haverhill, good luck on the build! if you get to any points that leave you moaning in despair, let us know, we have plenty of free advice and could even lend a hand.
