I've got a 1976 Taurus 16' travel trailer that has been up on my six acre property which I bought to use as an overnight sleeper when I do work up there (I rent out the main house), but it turns out I have gotten soft in my old age and would rather go into town, get dinner and go to a motel... so it has been pretty unused. So in my mid-life crisis I"ve taken up motorcycle track days and looking for a trailer, they run $500+... so my thought is take a saws-all to the back of the travel trailer and install a rear door. Or, more radically, just raze the entire thing and use the chassis as a platform (I bought it for $600). I thought I was crazy, then I came here...
Any threads on something similar?
