Hi Kitecop,

I used to see kitesurfers off HWY 1 just between Santa Cruz and Davenport when I lived in CA. What a sight! I am not a kitesurfer, swimmer, or welder but wanted to just say "Hi" and welcome to the forum.

Though I did take introductory MIG welding, metal shop, and woodworking classes before realizing I probably shouldn't try to build my trailer from scratch if I wanted to be able to use it in the next decade, avoid an ulcer, and keep all of my fingers. Luckily I was able to hire another forum member to build my custom design for me. Was on the road with it 5 months later.

I hope your build is going well!
