I am David Campbell, KF7SFU. I've been dreaming of building a TD for radio and hunting and mostly because the wife thinks I won't complete it. After much consideration it will be a hard sided Kampmaster design so I can have a dry place to stand. Being 6'7" it is hard to find a camper with that much interior space.

Hi David you'll get it done!
A Kampers ter will bring a whole lot of extra work and complications for a first timer I assume although I'm only building my first but I'd say adding the canvas and sealing it would be more difficult that say a drop floor design.
I found on YouTube an Australian commercial one today that had some concepts that would work for your radio.
Folds into a comfortable couch with a desk ect.
If it wasn't the "bondi it was one of thier other models

Welcome David! I'm Tim KE0CME. Have fun with your build. I've built a Generic Benroy but the queen size bed is plenty for my 6'3" frame.
