Newbies from Fruita, CO

Postby FruitaDave » Mon Jun 08, 2015 10:13 pm

Hi all, my wife and I just decided to build our first teardrop. I have been lurking for a while and think we have a pretty solid plan together. We are looking forward to getting finished and hitting the road with the camper. One of our first trips will be a week long road trip to California.

Welcome! I'm a newbie too. I am in northern Wyoming now but I grew up in McCoy, Colorado. Every August we would go to Grand Junction and Fruita to get school stuff and pick fruit. Small world right?
My hubby and I are working on my teardrop too. I put my progress so far in my gallery. I have been putting CPES and Urethane on my walls. Very sore arm tonight. I have 2 coats epoxy on the outside and 1 on the inside. Urethane is 6 coats outside and 2 inside. I just have the inside left to do.
I was really hoping to have the camper done before the summer was over but may not make it.

Hello from the Front Range! I'm in Colorado Springs myself. I am currently working a non-traditional ttt. The build is a mountain of work, but oh so much fun! Goo luck with your build :)
