hey all---call me crazy, but i"ve got it in my head to build this......

i"ll be using the deck from my pace america 6X8 cargo trailer. it has served me well over the years, and it's time to be reborn as a silver bullet.
made up some rudimentary plans and a wee maquette to get me going on material costs and wrapping techniques....

i plan on using 1" square stock (.065 ) for the base--which will be plunked onto the pace america bed, and 1" round for the ribcage. if any pros have alarm bells going off at this point, lemme know quick, before i pull the trigger !!
aside from that i will be lurking this site heavily for ideas and inspiration. :beer:

I will also follow your build :thumbsup: What will you use to wrap it. can you get aluminum that shiny or is that SS.

hey retro---thanks for looking ! the wrap will be aluminum---.030 i think. i really appreciate a good patina so as of yet i'm not sure on the finish.
