OK so here we go.
I'm starting my Teardrop, I have my Northern Tool trailer in the garage, put together. I noticed the absence of room to work as my garage is also home for my Honda Goldwing and some woodworking tools. So the next step is to get some covered storage space. That is working now.
My wife just called me at work a little bit ago and informed me that my doors had arrived, I also have my power panel and roof vent.
Now a few questions.
What is everyone doing about the floor?
Where is a good place for the power supply?
And I'm sure that there will be more questions. I really appreciate all the information I have found here and am looking forward to your input.

I think ... unless one is lucky tohave a huge garage/workspace, we all suffer the same issues... where an I going to build this thing...

Have you read the Generic Benroy plans? They have some pretty good details about the floor. Mine is 3/4 ply over 2x6. Its covered with sheet linoleum.
By power supply I'll assume you mean converter? The electrical section has a lot of good info on that. I'm using a different converter than most, it doesn't have the fuse panel, and I have it mounted in the galley, over the battery. I like having the converter near the battery, and my battery is in the back, because I needed it to balance the large tongue box on the front.

Depending on the local rules and codes, you might find that you can get away with creating a temporary garage in your backyard. For mine, I used 2 HF EZ up canopies, covered by a 24' x 30' tarp. That thing stayed up for 5 months, went through blinding rain and wind storms with absolutely no problems. The canopies and the tarp work in opposition to each other, so it is very hard for the wind to tear at them. Oh, and have them staked down really well. I use the 14" lawn stakes you can get at Home Depot garden department for about $1.50 each. These things are tapered 3/16" thick, 14" long and 2.5" wide green, flat steel stakes. They will drive into anything, mud, rocks, clay, sand. They won't pull out if you put the flat side towards the tarp, but you can easily remove them by whacking them on the side with a hammer.

Well we are started. Moved a bunch of stuff around and made some room in the garage. Put up a cover down the outside of the garage. I'll be able to park the motorcycle outside some what out of the weather.
Got the walls of the Teardrop cut out. Did one and decided to change speeds. So did the plywood stretch. Used my biscuit joiner. Worked great, I now have 9 foot length. Now planning on making the base but 5 foot wide material is becoming a problem. I found 5 x5 1/2 Baltic Burch but that's it so far. I have a very large supply of various hardwood lumber that I have accumulated over the years so I have everything needed for my cabinets. No luck at all on 5 foot material for the ceiling or roof. That's my biggest problem so far. I'll figure out how to post pictures also.

Well I have the covered storage at the side of the house. Was able to move a couple of things out there. Now getting a little done on the TD. I have my Northern Tool trailer put together and wired. Lost the receipt I'll need to get my tag, should be one in my Email now. Framed up the base. Glued on the roadside 1/4 " and trimmed it. Good excuse to get a new router. Got the foam glued in but didn't have time before work to get the cabin side ply on. I'll try to get that done when I get home tonight.

It would be helpful for some of us to see how you used the biscuits and you could start a gallery (Link at top of page) and load a few pics of the build progress, if you like. We would enjoy watching your project come together...

Haven't taken the time to figure out how to upload photos. I have taken several with my phone. But so far I have the walls complete. Cut and fit bulkheads and a shelf up front. Going to start some finish work then assemble.

Got the inside pieces finished. Going to try putting together some of the larger parts this weekend.
