Empty Canvas 8.5 x 24

New guy here. Hello, everyone. I'm getting ready to move into my empty cargo-trailer, but don't have the time to fabricate much. I have a small solar-system ready to go in, as soon as I figure out some placement plans. I need to rewire its interior lighting to run off the battery-bank that I'll be adding. The trailer came with a 14" roof-vent, and two small vents in the corners. I'm hoping this will be enough ventilation, because I enjoy the stealthiness of not having windows.

I figure, since the cargo trailer is so large, that I won't need to mess with trying to utilize a small space so much. I'm planning on just throwing my futon in there, with a normal coffee table and mounting a flat-screen to the wall. I have clothing racks on wheels and some tool-boxes to use for their drawers. I don't have any e-track or anything, but I need to secure these "fixtures" that are on wheels. I have a small electric fridge, and a tiny electric washing machine too.

I'd like to leave the futon as a couch, then hang a hammock for my permanent bed.

Wow, an 8.5 x 24 sounds so huge... :applause:

Plan well and you will have a great camper and still have room to move around... Good luck and keep us posted... :pictures:

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Well, it's huge compared to teardrops, but not that large compared to travel trailers, so I figured it'd be doable. I notice it's not very different towing, from a 6x12, once you get going down the road (aside from fuel mileage). Instead of tons of carpentry, the extra room just allows me to skip extreme utilization of space and spread things out a bit more, making it easier and quicker to accomplish. I'm just throwing my futon in there instead of building a fold-up situation.

I was trying to do this with a 6x12, but ran out of room very quickly. I might have went a bit overboard with the replacement, but it'll have to do, for now.
