Hello, m husband and I just became vintage trailer owners with a 1961 mobile scout. It's 16 ft so not sure if it qualifies as a tiny trailer but there's so much useful information here that I wanted to join our projects include modifying a closet to hold a porta potty and possibly shower, switching the electric fridge for propane fridge no running a gas line, removing interior paneling and replacing it, maybe with bead board, and of course new curtains, cushions, and mattress. Any and all advice welcome!
Your trailer is a doll and if the inside is as nice as the outside, you found a treasure...
I have a 19' (16' trailer space) and the frig is elec and gas... I really like it because I can run gas when dry camping and elec when 110 vac is available... If I were to replace it, I would look into a tri-power ... 12 vdc, 110 vac, and gas (never had 12 vdc for a frig before; I have been told it is more for a maintaining mode, but I don't know)...
Good luck and looking forward to seeing you folks on the road and campground...
