Hello from Western Washington

Hello and thanks for the add. I was recently gifted a 16x7 cargo trailer and I was looking at converting it into a bunkhouse for my family to use as a bedroom when we camp. We don't want an RV so to speak, as we like camping outdoors. It would be nice, however to have a place to keep all of our camping gear stored and ready to go. I also am getting too old and my body is too beat up to keep sleeping on the ground.

I am hoping to use the wealth of information here to guide me along my adventure of the conversion. I will be looking for helpful advice and constructive criticism from you folks who have some experience.

Other than just building a mobile bunkhouse, I was thinking of adding the capacity to transport freshwater, and implement a 12v pump. I would like to add some interior and exterior LED lighting. I want to have some propane tanks mounted for outdoor bbqing and am thinking that an awning would be nice off of one side so we have a place to cook, where it is out of the weather. I will be looking at adding some insulation, a way to combat condensation, some deep cycle batteries to power LED lighting and water pump. I will also want to add a window or two and an RV style door that can be opened from inside and outside

I'm sure I will find other cool ideas as I begin digging around this cool site more.
