Looking for ideas

Postby roadie » Sun Apr 17, 2016 10:34 pm

Hi everyone,

Recently completed my trailer build and will be taking it out next weekend for the first time. Looking for ideas to mount something in the gap between a tongue box and my trailer. It's a custom 4x8 square box on a HB trailer. Debating making homemade wood box, bike mount, etc. I already have a spare tire mount. Ideas? Thx! :-)

How about moving the tongue box up tight against the front wall?

Our situation was a bit different in that our gap is due to curvature. I used PVC pipe to hold tent poles and the top one holds the sewer hose.

Someone on the form used a space like that to store his solor panels. Or maybe you could store a table or a pair of zero-g chairs

I agree with Roly, then maybe mount a propane tank or whatever your needs require in the space that's left.
I cut a piece of diamond plate aluminum and mount it forward of the tongue box so I can stand on it to wash the teardrop.
It also serves as a place to put things while arranging the tongue box contents.
