Tiny v nose trailer.

My first trailer. No carpentry skills or tools other than a 7 inch saw and a square.

I started with a Northern aluminum trailer 40x48. and extended to floor to 6 feet. 8 inches over the front and the rest in the rear.



Built the frame.




I cut the sides and moved the axle back.


I didn't cut everything any where close to the same so I used small brackets to hold everything in place. I got like 30 of them holding everything.


I put some CPFC on the sides and top. And while I'm waiting to dry I will be doing the insides with electrical wiring and the walls will be just a drop cloth stapled to the frame.

I have installed a swivel and waiting on an MCHITCH for my Harley

Currently It looks like it will weigh about 425 to 450lb.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Looks like you have a good start, with a bunch of clip angles and wood screws holding things together. My only sugestion would be to be sure to use glue and screws on the exterior covering since you may have structural weakness where the 2x2s are butted together. Just my 2 cents. Ask questions, take pics and post um. Good luck on your build.
