Hello from Texas

Hello Everyon, I’m Ken. I have been lurking for a bit and trying to learn all I can. Seriously thinking about doing a cargo trailer conversion soon.

Okay, I guess I should update a bit. I am currently waiting on a special order trailer from Lowes. Hopefully it actually shows up. I have had a lot of trouble with this before. Right now I am leaning toward a “gypsy wagon”, vardo, sheepherder style camper. I am mostly doing this to allow for a queen size sleeper without a wider trailer and to keep the side rails of the trailer intact. I’m don’t really feel it is probably a good idea to cut off the rails to make the frame flat. I’m not an engineer but it just seems less sturdy if I did this. I’m also weighing the pros/cons of possibly making the camper removable. Thanks
