Hi folks
I've been a happy owner of a 1950s 5 x 12 teardrop for 10 years. Do to health concerns my trailer has deteriorated and I'd like to rebuild. I am wondering if anyone has a material list .ie: plywood sheets
Any help would be appreciated. Gary

If you send us some pictures we’ll probably be able to help. Do you know the manufacturer or anything else that could help?
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Greg welcome your are in the right place.
Teardrops can be addictive.
There are a lot of people here that can help you but you need to look in the areas.
That you feel you need to know about.
also try and donate to the sight if you can afford.
also start a Build Journals others will watch your work, pictures are the best way.
Best of luck on your build.
and look for how make a gallery too.

The number of sheets depends on how you plan to construct.

I use 11 sheets of 5'x5' 1/8" Baltic, 2 or 3 sheets of 1/2" and 2 sheets of 3/4" for a build. All Baltic.

But I use a fair amount of 3/4" CDX and 1/4" subflooring. And that stuff is easily obtained and there's no reason not to buy it as you need it instead of stockpiling.

:frightened:
