Newbie ready to upgrade from tents

Greetings and Salutations!

My wife and I have been tent camping for a few years now with our boys and are ready for an upgrade. We'd love to go with a 25' travel trailer, but that is well outside of our budget for the next several years. But after watching the build series from the YT channel, Living Our American Dream, we are in love with the idea of building our own mini travel trailer.

I've got lots of questions and will be sure to do my research before I consult the hive mind. When all is in progress and done, I'll be sure to share here. Maybe, we'll even join in on some group meetups.

We were in your shoes 3 or 4 years ago and have since built and used our little teardrop extensively. This community and the FB groups are amazing and folks are incredibly generous with their time and expertise. We wouldn’t have finished without the support of the group.

I found Tony Latham’s book super helpful and followed his methodology.
