Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

I'm no aerodynamics expert, but I'm of the opinion that a V-front doesn't give much gain over a flat.

If the trailer is significantly taller than the TV, then that upper surface might hit a lot of wind. That's why big rigs often have a wing or fairing on top of the cab. Everything else is in the draft of the TV.

The biggest aerodynamic problem with these cargo trailers is probably the big, flat back. Just as the leading surface "pushes" the wind, the trailing surface is "pulling" the wind. That's why you see big rigs now with the flaps on the tail that taper off. I've seen long-distance haulers with a fiberglass nosecone on the tail.
