Good solution. Don't forget the hamper pocket for the dirty clothes!

Living out of a suitcase gets old after about one day.

Here is the bottom pocket for my clothing storage. I did a little drawing of my bike on it! :D

THX! I know I hated the suit case on my first trip! I think this will work well!

Your trailer looks great! :applause: Nevertheless, one of the best investments I've done to my 6X10 was adding styrofoam insulation on every square inch of the walls and the ceiling. My 5,000 BTU window AC used to run non-stop 24/7 without the insulation.

After insulation was installed, that small AC seems to have been overkill. Now it runs for two minutes at every 15 minute interval which was really quite surprising. Doing so also makes the inside fairly sound proofed. As each styro panel went up, I noticed the changes in sound. No more hollow 'echo-like' effects inside. I have both back doors left to complete which I will finish by the end this week as I'm in no hurry.

A small one horsepower air compressor (model 395-226 Husky brand) and a Bostitch narrow crown pneumatic stapler (281-356 HomeDepot Pt #) will speed the installation process up a bit. Removing all of the used staples from around the trim was a piece of cake. Press each trim piece up against a flat sheet of plywood as you move from one end to the other, the staples will practically fall out or would be easy to pull with just your fingers. I thought this part was going to be the most time consuming - such was not the case. Cutting the styrofoam to fit snugly took the most time, but it was absolutely worth the effort and I am still having fun doing it. In total, I'd say it took me, working alone, almost 24 hours to get where I'm at.

Still working away at art for the wall pockets. Here: the layouts for the next two. They aren't done yet.

beds

Postby kkayv » Fri May 10, 2013 11:55 am

I put some tie downs on the walls to hold the beds in place with bungees while driving. Needless to say I don't need them flying all over the place! Now I need to rig something to attach my gear bag to and other misc... like chairs
Any cool ideas?

The insulation material I used comes in 4 X 8ft. sheets - the thickness is inch and a half.

HomeDepot has sheets of 4 'X 8' X 1 1/2" R-Tech styrofoam insulation.
