Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

I needed a trailer that was taller so I could carry a lifted golf cart and it cost me the same to have it 6.1/2 or 7ft so I went with the 7 ft and I am glad I did, I spend a lot of time in mine esp in the summer and it gives me plenty of head room.
I think it will be hard to find a used one that is taller than 6ft but if you are willing to look and wait you might find one ? but I think a lot of people want as much for a used trailer as if you bought one new from a factory? that is what I found when I was looking.

Remember that to keep all that heat in, you will have to insulate the floor with the same R-10 as the walls, ceiling, doors, etc. Yes, a skylight would let much heat out. If it survived a 200F ambient.

And, you should check the Jeep's towing capacity before committing.

I think the jeep is rated to tow over 2000lbs, and I should be able to keep well under that. I'm not running any plumbing or electrical, probably just a couple small stick-up battery or solar leds. The heater is pretty light, rocks are heavy but there is no way getting around that and I don't need many. the benches and paneling might add a couple hundred pounds. Not sure what insulation weighs, but can't be too much. And if I start with a small light trailer platform I think I'll be ok. I'm not sure at what point drag becomes a bigger issue than weight though.

For the floor I was thinking build a subfloor out of cloroplast or something similar under the trailer, sealing it really well and filling the space with expanding foam of some sort, the maybe 1" or 2" foam board inside the trailer, shaped to drain down to a floor drain, with some sort of waterproof barrier over top overlapping a little ways up the walls, and duck boards over that.
