And I do have one of those combos which I have never used. I bought a seat from Cabelas many moons ago.

I have to second Gonefishin's recommendation of the WAG bag system. We have used it for years on our sailboat, even though it has a holding tank. This has allowed us to not have to deal with pumping stations. We just line the toilet with the bags. Never failed.

Now that we have a CT conversion, we use the 5-gallon bucket with snap-on toilet seat lid. In place of the WAG bag system, we double bag it with kitchen garbage bags and use litter in place of the "Poo Powder". Works just as well, but does have higher capacity than the WAG bag system.

The WAG bags in 5 gallon buckets work great in an emergency but you have to dispose of them somewhere before they get punctured or forgotten in the back of your truck. I have a 3.5 gallon bucket and use that inside the 5 gallon bucket. The smaller bucket is a better size for the WAG bag and the space between it and the 5 gallon bucket is a convenient space for supplies. The two buckets together make it a little higher and more comfortable to use. I don't know any local companies that sell the 3.5 gallon buckets. I think I bought it from Consolidated Plastics.

I also have a Dometic 970 because it holds a lot of waste and can be dumped in a toilet (very carefully). I set it in my shower and use the shower wand to "flush" it so I don't need to fill it up with as much water. I got a screw-on flip lid for the clean out on my sewer line so I can dump it outside. Search ebay for "site sewer cap" - they are about $50 with shipping.

Brand new to the forum but have been hanging out for a while. I have two ct I have converted. The best toilet solution I found was a marine waterless system. Nature's Head is the one I went with but others are available. Low maintenance and little smell. Not cheap but worth a look.

We like the Thetford. Got it at Wally World for like $57.00-$60.00. It has a flush and it is easy to dump. Don't get one too big cuz it will be too heavy to carry. It is so good that my daughter opted for one in her basement bedroom instead of a bathroom. If you dump it slowly you can dump it in a toilet at a campground (so I heard people do). We just dump in the campground sewage dumps.

I hated to empty these toilets so I bought the pvc parts from lowes and for about 15.00 I have a way to drain it from the outside.
when I get home I take a water hose inside and wash it out and refill it.
works great
