salvaging a pop-up camper

Postby rdemler » Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:37 pm

I'm waiting for my 7x14 v-nose to get here.I have found a pop up camper that had bad water damage, and the owners don't want to fix it.The owner wants to strip it down and make a trailer out of it.I told them I was interested in all the fixtures and plumbing and wiring. We made a deal that I could take the camper strip it all out and give them back the base and frame.Has anyone done this with any success as far as things salvaged fitting and still working.Just hoping it's as good a deal as I think it is.Thanks for reading this.

I scrounged a 3 way fridge out of a wrecked camper and it works just fine in the CT.

My teardrop was built on a pop-up frame. I was able to salvage the fuse panel, propane lines and connectors, some lights, the propane stove and ice box.

My teardrop was built on a pop-up frame. I was able to salvage the fuse panel, propane lines and connectors, some lights, the propane stove and ice box. Besides the frame itself, the best things I salvaged was the fuse panel(at least 70.00 value) and the slide outs(which are really heavy duty and are big enough to make 8 sliders at 50.00 value each)
