My trailer will be done/delivered in THEORY, the end of next week. The build will be simple as the first purpose is toy hauler, secondary is camping. In the mean time I've been stock piling the bits and pieces. A 5000btu window unit will be mounted in it someplace and be powered with the HF 800 watt generator. Coleman two burner stove and coffee pot will get built in to some kind of portable chuck box (I don't miss many meals if I can help it!). A screen room and a couple of chairs to help us avoid the skeeters will allow us to enjoy some outside time when we aren't riding the ATV. D-rings with backing plates came from fleabay and will be installed to hold the ATV in place. The current plan for sleeping is the double high coleman air mattress with a 4 inch foam topper. The super simple electric found on here for 120volt will be used (outside outlet feeding a 3 way) and i am still scratching my head about 12 volt which I am hoping to use the most of. IF all goes well I will have some room for my 2 meter ham stuff which is currently not being used. Yup, I've been a tech for 15 years or so and been on the air maybe a half dozen times. I used to listen a good bit. One of the no-name storms came through and took out my antenna and I have never put up another. I KNOW, antennas for 2 meter are simple...Anyway, I will try to do some posting in the build journals to document the journey. This site is incredible and LOADED with information. Thanks to all of you who have contributed so us trailer challenged folks have a chance!
