I don't notice much difference between my 6X12 loaded, or "unloaded" with my stock F-150. I use the same 2" drop hitch I've used with my small (17'-19') boats for years. Yes, it does sag from the tongue weight, but I've adjusted the headlights accordingly to a happy medium that works both towing and not towing. Even with a battery on the tongue, and bottles of propane, water, and boat anchors in the bed of the truck, she still tows nicely. Build the trailer and cross the hitch bridge when you come to it.

I will beat the snow. I got a call this morning. My CT is ready. Two weeks earlier then promised. My calendar shows I can pick it up on next Tuesday.
( are there any other retired members out there whose calendar is so much more filled out now then when we worked full time?....how did I get it all done before and still work?).

Bob,
That is great news on the early manufacturing date on your CT. It won't be too long before sawdust is flying.
Take care,
Tom

Thanks Tom,
And with good news there is sometimes bad news. :crying2: I forgot that I had a scheduled appointment with my Ford dealer next Monday to install my Brake Module unit in my truck. So I am back to the original pick up date. Trailer is ready, I am not.
