Welcome gregcoit,

I recall seeing many trailer builds posted in this section with in-board wheel wheels. You owe it to yourself to go through the many great builds here.
Here is one I can remember where MtnDon has done what you are asking about.

Lark can build a 6' wide with wheels inside. We went through a local dealer and had ours built and shipped to us. Link in my signature line

We have towed it a couple thousand miles now with a good number of windy days; head on, front quarter, sidewinds, never any tail winds somehow. :D It has towed very steady behind the Tacoma.

hope to replace the plywood that comes with most cargo trailers with some light wood -

I was told by a couple of different manufacturers that the interior plywood was structural, that it stiffened up the sides.

At first I tHought you just missed it, but I too found the non-registered note on Lark. Very strange. I have a local dealer nearby and for the heck of it, when I am Near that area, I will stop and ask about them.

Or maybe MtnDon will come back with better info.

It just be they missed the domain renewal. Who knows? The trailershowroom.com still lists the Lark facilities as manufacturing plants for some of the trailers they sell. I'd ask a local dealer what they know.

FYI, contact info for the domain name is (head office)
