Her 1st night went well.
We have a lil dog sleeping pad she can lay on. It's a bit noisy like a sleeping bag and she kept moving around, so I put a moving blanket on top of that and she finally fell asleep.

Started making a sink cover, so it ain't getting used as storage.
Didn't have the right bit to get it to fit flush. So I added a piece to the bottom and made it work.
Experimenting with 2 different stains. It's a bit dark.
Oh well.




Also got a new rug for those chilly mornings.

Fixed the drawer door and added some reinforcement inside.

We used it the last 4 days and so far impressed. It is kinda short but no biggie for us. Folds up nicely to put in the bed of the truck.

Thanks for the update..
we've only had one gas grill in the past.. was such a pain to clean after using..
How's the clean up after, on this one?
I can see the benefit of using the gas one.. not having to carry the charcoal and then the lighter fluid..

It has a lil tray underneath. Not much grease inside after cooking . Wiped it up with a paper towel. We also leave it on for a few minutes afterwards to cook off what didn't get scraped off.
We have a electric grill at home and this cooks much faster.

Sadly the trailer has been sitting since early June so last weekend we made a trip back to Scofield reservoir for some fishing .
Made a few mods. A new comforter for the bed. That last one was so damn cheaply made.
Also picked up a pair of motion lights, which I made to hook to the top of the doors and removable.
Caught a few fish once the sun went behind the mountain .

Ordered a sheet of polyethylene for the insulation underneath the trailer.
The white stuff is falling apart behind the axle.

Rolled the trailer up on some ramps and took down the rear-most insulation sheet.
Well it practically fell down once I removed the bailing wire holding it up.
(While on a previous trip I noticed it hanging down) and bailing wire saved the day.

I had to go with 1" in this section due to a center brace in the way.
The rest is staying up fine but it'll get replaced with polyethylene soon. I can use 2" under the rest of the trailer.

New insulation installed. I had to cut a few screws hanging down with bolt cutters so I could slid it over the center brace.
Now I have a couple jacks underneath holding 2x6's up until it dries.

BTW. I use silicone to glue the polyethylene sheets up , instead of construction adhesive. C.A. doesn't like plastic-y surfaces .

Plus they fit tight in the frame rails.

Do you know the R value per inch of the polyethylene sheets you are using?

Also, what was the cost per sheet?

Talking with our foam supplier, I couldn't get an exact answer since we use it for school gym pads but it's the same stuff ya cover/insulate pipes with. Online I've been finding R4 to 13.
Im sure it's better than the Styrofoam stuff I had and will hold up way better to road debris. Also water and mold proof.
My cost is $60 a sheet for 2" thick
(49x113") 4x9ft sheet. I'll be replacing the rest in the next few months.

My fenders were looking a bit dull, so I polished em up a bit.
Hooked up and ready for the gathering this weekend.

Anybody out there have the thicker diamond plate fenders, particularly the black powder coated ones ???
Interested to see how they hold up to rock chips.
