Wow. Those round cabinets look like they should be in a cathedral or mansion library. That's so far out of my (shallow) depth I can't imagine how you'd start to make something like that. For instance, the curved panel doors!

I can't wait for my trailer to arrive.

OK. It's September, and I've made some major progress on my cabinetry. Here's how it looks now:

(Yes, I "oops" with the showing pocket screwholes...)

Next question -- how to I mount a flat wall cabinet above the microwave when the wall behind it is curved? It was easy installing the base cabinet -- I used a cardboard template to mimic the curve and transferred that to the counter top. But the wall cabinet has to support some weight...

How about putting the cabinet on the side wall instead? That way you'll leave the front counter space clear if you want to use a stove.

Nice work digimark!

The ceiling is beautifully done.

Thanks for the kind words Prem, but I can't take the credit; the ceiling is a factory-install. Thanks also for the note in the cushion thread.

FireLion has a good idea about moving things around; I'd have to move the TV though as it would be blocked by the cabinet. I'm going to sit on it and think for a while.

digimark,

I'm building a new quasi-teardrop and I have a beautifully reupholstered (industrial, synthetic, bomb-proof fabric) van conversion sofa that folds into a bed. You might look around for one. I found mine at a swap meet for $10. It looked awful but folded perfectly. The auto and boat upholstery shop guys tore it down to the steel frame, repainted it, lubed it and even put in new foam. Wow! ($490) Better than factory!
