well Pete
The only thing they could get is the spare tire. My battery boxes and charger are attached to the trailer. the power cord will be pluged in. I havent had any problems yet.

That's what I have in mind just my trailer is only 5' wide so the door would be where your window is and the A/C about the same. Since it's only 10' long I'm going to build the back wall as far back as possible. The A/C will stick out, not a problem installing the A/C every time 'cause this will only be used maybe once or twice a month through the warm months! I'll figure a way to keep the single door open when setup. I'm thinking I can install a couple of eye bolts maybe to the fenders to tie-off a tarp that will go over the trailer and back to 2 poles at other end for a back awning/shade type of configuration.
OR...just buy a 10'x10' Pop Up canopy and have maybe about 2' or 3' of it covering the back of the trailer giving me a 'Back Porch' to sit under!

That is what we do. An easy up awning over the ramp with jacks keeping the ramp level like a porch. I have a few pics in my album of the set up.

I am planning on a back wall against the doors (in other words, no space, and no storage, between the wall and the doors).

The wall will have three good sized tempered glass windows that will slide back and forth for ventilation. Probably there will be a curtain for night privacy.

If I put in any windows into the side walls they will be quite small, so this big window is the source of most light and view.

I think I can engineer and build a screen/storm door that works with the existing side door to add ventilation/light to the front of the trailer.

My AC mounts across the top of the side door in a bolt-on wooden frame, and we climb in under it to get into the trailer. I built a three-panel folding door to fit the space under the AC when inside to close the gap. It may be the only solution I've seen like it, and it has the advantage that we can leave it (the AC) at home when the weather doesn't require it or we have no access to 120V.

If you're planning to make the AC in your back door removable, don't forget to make a filler for when the AC isn't there.

Whether in the back door or side door, mounting the AC there means you're not cutting a hole into the trailer sidewall. But if I had the courage to do so, I might.
