The new bed....plus it makes good storage for my containers and coolers.
But really close to the A/C so it gets cold at night in there

Very true Cliff
I work in southern Calif most of the time so I get spoiled by their mild climate. So when I come home for my R & R it takes me a day or two to get used to the weather at home. But I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. I love Georgia.
Southern born....Southern Raised.

I wish we could join you all on that camping trip, but I wanted to comment on the Poncho Liner in one of the photos. That is the on piece of equipment I have kept from my time in the Army. They should make a civilian equivalent. Great as a warm cover, great for the beach (sand doesn't stick to it), dries fast if it gets wet, stays warm if it is wet... We have purchased 4 of them since I got out (at Army/Navy Surplus Stores).

We will be camping one week before your trip at Desoto Falls State Park just south in Alabama.

Have a good trip!!

PS: Love the north Georgia/Western NC mountains!!

I agree on the poncho liner. I kept it and the poncho from my tour in the Army. I m just using it temp on top of the bed so the air matteress doesnt rub into the plywood bed. It also is long enough on the sides that it drapes down and covers the the bins and coolers.

Tell me how your trip goes..... been thinking about heading up that way.

Happy Camping
