hope the bad hip is better so you can begin to build.
I often wonder how one would make removable cabinets to convert the CT into a camper?
I would think it would be like one of my sailboats the trailered one fun on the water but becomes a pain stepping the mast rigging the sails
makes those evening sails less and less fun over just hopping aboard the fixed sailed one and crusing the lake.
but I digress both boats are now long gone and having one on a trailer beats not having any.

Pete,

I initially thought that I would have to disassemble each 30" wide cabinet to manage the removal by myself, but to my surprise, the pair bolted together are not a problem.

I am going to weigh each component the first time I remove... thats coming up as my daughter is moving into a new house in the next month!

I am now designing the forward wall cabinet which will hold the microwave, tv, reading lights, etc, unfortunately, I was on the couch all day, again, with the bad hip.

Dan having gone through eight operations first at age 13 with a broken neck to last one at 60 total knee replacement.

and needing other knee replaced as well as a back operation I can sympathize with your condition.

makes walking hard enough let alone building a CT conversion get well soon the only couch laying should be thanksgiving watching football.

wow, nice web site. your convertible trailer idea is cool too. I too have bum hip. I go in on Jan 9th to have it replaced. I am so looking forward to getting it done. After a day of working on my CT i am so crippled up.

Currently converting 12 x 7 v- nose snowmobiler trailer. It will be modular I can still haul two sleds in the winter. The fold down bed, couch and base cabinets will be removable. I'll try to get pics up soon.
